My client is a successful business specialising in the manufacture of a variety of products to a range of industries. As a result of their increase in workload, they are now seeking an immediately available, experienced QC Analyst to join their team on a temporary basis. This would be an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in the QC of pharmaceutical products, with specific experience of using HPLC, to join a thriving company. There may be potential for this position to become permanent.

Responsibilities of the job will include:

  • Carrying out analysis of raw materials and finished products in accordance with SOPs

  • Undertaking HPLC analysis of liquid pharmaceutical products and formulations

  • Report any failing materials or products to the QC supervisor

  • Ensure the calibration of equipment. .

  • Ensure samples and documentation are filed and well kept.

This new opportunity is fundamental to the continued success of the business and the ideal candidate should be punctual and reliable with good attention to detail and able to work to a high level of accuracy. Excellent written and verbal communication and strong IT skills are essential.

Required:

  • Minimum A Level (or equivalent) in Chemistry or relevant scientific subject

  • Proven analytical experience of pharmaceutical products or similar

  • Specific experience with HPLC

  • Immediate availability
